Who Wants to Be Healthy Anyways?
I like to begin posts with a simple, but provocative question. They are powerful tools to open our consciousness to old beliefs systems that we may have not consciously known are there AND to the possibility of new more empowering and constructive paradigms.
Who wants to be healthy anyways?
I would argue that many people have not internalized vibrant health as an option for their lives. We live in a split society—those that DESIRE health along with those that want to maintain a level of functioning to sustain all of the responsibilities this modern world contains.
Do these two sound any different?
If you are perceptive, than you will note that one journey is one of self-discovery and development, while the other is stagnant, complacent, and ultimately unfulfilling.
Neither one is wrong, since there is no real judgement that must come with these paths… That being said, there is an option that FEELS better.
That is your INSTINCT. ✶
One person is actively desiring and developing themselves; desiring [optimal] health as a path of self-development refining and broadening our ability to express ourselves, commune with others, and seek what is greater.
The other may consider the futility and limitations of what a human life offers—by doing just enough we will get just enough. A belief of life is to be lived within the limitations of what health can produce and deplete.
